Why with a private guide?

Mr. / Ms. Visitor:

Montserrat mountain at nightfallYou’ve most likely thought, when away sightseeing on your travels, that there have be many other places to see and visit, perhaps not usually offered by guides and itineraries on the market, aside from the usual well-known sights in any given city or region.

This also happens in Barcelona and Catalonia, whereby the visitor from abroad is always shown the ‘usual’ sights, those places indicated in any regular commercial tourist guide.

Bacivers mountain in the PyreneesWith a private guide you can get round this problem, whilst also extending the scope of your activities. A private guide can easily adapt to suit your needs, wishes and personal interests, and can organise a tailor made trip. You can obviously, in your own private way and at your own pace, visit all those sights known worldwide, both within Barcelona or across the whole region. However, you can also let an expert guide suggest and lead you to different, special places or areas, far off the beaten tourist track.

This is exactly what I’d like to offer you as a private, independent guide: trips tailored completely to your needs, whether you’d like an outing of just a couple of hours, a day, or longer. This can range from a regular trip for people interested in art, history or culture, to a mountain excursion for lovers of great scenery and nature.

La Roca village in the Pyrenees I’ll show you everything that you won’t otherwise manage to see: small, unknown villages; untouched, unspoilt, coastal coves, free of any buildings; all kinds of inland landscapes; unusual, peculiar, little explored aspects of Catalonia’s culture and history, natural parks, mountain heights and so much more.

Gaudí church Sagrada FamiliaOf course you can also visit with me all those regular sights (no queues, as I am an official licensed guide) such as the Sagrada Familia, the Gothic Quarter, Gaudi’s world heritage buildings Casa Milà or Casa Batlló, the Park Güell or any of the numerous museums (Picasso, Mirò, MNAC and others) or artistic exhibitions taking place in Barcelona. I can accompany you on your shopping trips to fashionable retailers, or help you get to know and taste the rich and varied gastronomy of our region.

Ask me, write to me, tell me what you want! It’ll be a pleasure for me to guide and advise you.
