This mountain range is the nearest and most popular of all for ramblers from Barcelona’s metropolitan area, whilst at the same time being one of the best conserved natural environments in Catalonia, meriting it recognition by UNESCO. This is a massif of great bio-diversity, offering us beautiful wooded and high-mountain landscapes: verdant and blooming in the spring and summer time, then with a spectacular autumnal palette of colours, and often snowy in the winter time. I suggest a 6km. itinerary across fairly easy, more or less even terrain, to discover and get a flavour of this incomparable natural setting.
